Re: Printing on linen paper using a J75

Printing on linen paper using a J75

Product Name: Other - specify product in post

Hello Community,

I just recently upgraded from a 700I to a J75 in October and generally I am very happy with it. The one issue I can't seem to work through is printing on Linen Stock. A lot of my customers like using the linen paper for their business cards and before on the 700, the ink would fill in the crevices great, but now on the J75 using the same settings on the print engine with the same file the ink does not fill in the crevices well. I have tried several different options to counter act these results, but with little success. I changed the productivity mode setting, I have used the heaviest weight availble on the machine. Nothing seems to work I have even chaged the one setting to 115% darker which works the best, but it changes the color to much. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Thank you.
