Re: Printing on non-supported Media Types

Jump to solution

Hello iamnoob,

I searched our online KB and found this solution:

https://www.support.xerox.com/en-us/article/en/2040818

Under the section Paper that can Damage the Printer, it states plastic media and transparencies. So it is not recommended.

Thanks,

Printing on non-supported Media Types

Jump to solution
Product Name: VersaLink C400 Color Printer
Operating System: Windows 10 x64

I see on the product's specification that it does not list any type of clear transparency film, clear labels, or any type of very thin clear media type.  Does this mean that this printer does not support these media types at all?  For example would I be able to feed Xerox's Laser Transparencies into the printer and get decent prints?  Would I be able to use clear labels/clear sticker paper designed for laser printers?
