We have a Xerox WorkCenter 7120.
We just replaced the Transfer Belt and Second Bias Transfer Roll per instructions. These consumables show "okay" in the Supplies list, confirming they were reset.
We are now having problems with pages not fully printing. B&W documents/prints (8.5"x11") only have maybe 2 or 3 inches of the text or image down the left side of the page (and sometimes barely anything) before there is nothing. This occurs both with printing from various PC's as well as trying to make copies at the printer. It was suggested to print 50 - 100 pages to see if the prints would gradually improve, but this hasn't helped.
We also attempted to print in color. The printed page was partially printed in color on the left side of the page, and then faded into smears of color down the page that looked like faded watercolor.
Drums are still okay %'s, and pages printed were fine prior to the replacements (when we were able to print without recieving errors about our belts).
Anyone have a suggestion how to fix this or what the problem may be? Thanks in advance.
