Sorry then, there is nothing more I can add, it works flawlessly on 4 different Connectkey devices with those exact settings as shown in the test lab, you will need to go through Xerox 2nd level support officially and get them to either remote into your PC to troubleshoot it, or grab "print to file" of your job and see what happens on their equipment with your job verses one they make.
I've tried that and the way the envelope is feed, but no luck.
I have no problem printing size 10 envelope.
That would imply the orientation is wrong, see what happens if you reverse the numbers on the tray programming sdcreen at the copier
correction.... custom size 3.9x8.9.
I've followed your instructions, but I'm still not able to print.
The printer kept saying "resource required". I'm not sure what what going on.
Custom size (3.9x8.8) is inputed and size 9 envelope is inserted.
Very frustrated!!!!!!!!!!
I'm in Canada as well, somebody changed your Word defaults, because cm is not normal, and it is certainly where your issue is coming from, not the printer or driver.
In Word, File > Options > Advanced (scroll just past halfway down) Show measurements in units of = inches
The driver is changed here
Thanks for your help, however I still cannot get it to print.
I followed your instructions, but the only differences is I'm in Canada and I have to specify the measurement in metric for Word and the printer properites in Windows. On the printer itself, the setting is in imperial format (inches). I don't see an option to convert between the two. So Windows is sending the file in metric measurements and the printer is looking for imperial measurements. Perhap this is a bug?
Custom size
3.9*8.9
Envelope
<Yes, this shot is not an envelope, I don't have a number 9 and simply used a piece of scrap cut to size per here>
In Word, open any blank thing and select File > Print and do this (because the Envelope wizard won't let you do so then)
Now do the wizard stuff exact as seen here (Trust me, even though I am showing you the exact opposite of what you told the printer)
This exact setup will work perfectly assuming you want to print on the bottom side of the envelope. If you need something else, Word can do the rotations (Feed option next to the Preview on left most part of screenshot) or you can simply change how it is loaded (Rotate by 180 degrees, change face-up vs face-down only)
Can someone guide me on how to print size 9 evelopes on the WorkCentre 7830?
I've googled and trying many different things but not able to do it.
Please note that I'm able to print size 10 envelopes.
There is no size 9 envelope option on the printer, so I choose custom size, but that still does not work.
