Re: Printing tabs and using GBC punch

Jump to solution

Hi Mary

Thanks for your response.  I actually was able to fix my issue.  I went to the small interface panel on the punch.  I selected tab/cover instead of 9x12.  In my fiery and on the 280 I made sure I had tab stock selected.  It worked!  So maybe this might help future jobs for you.

Hi Kerrilyn

sorry, but I was not able to fix my issue or find anyone who could answer my question. I ended up not using the inline GBC punch and bypassed it and punched the book when finihsed out back in our finishing department.

Hi there ...

I am having the same issue with the position number 3.  I am running 35 tab book and every position 3 tab is missing two end punch holes.  I have changed the weight and material on the fiery for correct tab stock and weight.  Is there another place to assist?  It is still doing it.  Thanks so much K

Hi,

It can be seen in your picture that punching tabs are not alinged well, so using the small UI on the GBC Pro, change the setting to tab/cover (eg.not 9x12 or 9x11).

When i print my xerox tabs and select gbc punch option tab 3 always comes out with 2 holes not punched. Are there any solutions out there?
