Hello Blandina,
I see no one has responded to this post yet. So, at this point I would recommend contacting your local Xerox Support Department to speak with a Product Specialist for more assistance. Please call 1-800-821-2797 or 1-800-835-6100.
Hello dear community,
we have a big problem in our company. I try to describe this as good as I can:
We got the Versalink C7025 and started printing with it on normal paper. There was an IT guy here who set up everything - calibrate the printer and somebody else made an ICC Profile through we could print in Photoshop our Tattoos. The colors were right, but we had big problems with the printing itself because our paper is not normal paper - instead it is a little bit thicker and has a shining surface, which made the colors slurred on the print sometimes.
Now the support from Xerox installed some hardware driver and made changes in the software and we can tell the printer that our paper is a card box with a shiny surface. So we can print now on our specific paper without problems BUT the colors are not right anymore.
How can this happen?? The calibration and ICC Profile remained the same ...there was no changes made. The support here in Germany can’t help us because they don’t understand the main problem.
Is there a solution where we can tell the printer DIRECTLY the ICC Profile? A Software solution? We just don’t understand why the printer doesn’t print with the ICC Profile he already knows…just because we changed the paper status (?)
Thank you so much for your help and support in this!
All the Best from Berlin
