Re: Printing yellow instead of white

I would guess the job isn't using the same output profile you are saving. And the way you changed it will produce more yellow, not less

Only other thing would be submission method, for instance, by default, Adobe products submit their color management to the printer, so the Fiery will ignore your settings. In something like Adobe reader, you just check the box in File > Print > Advanced for Let printer determine color.

I tried but it did not work. I saved the new settings and printed out a page that usually comes out with a small yellow shade instead of white and did not have any effect what so ever. I went back to do the process all over agian and saw that my settings was not saved, so I tried again and again and aigain. It is like the settings never get stored.

I send some pictures so you can see what I am doing, if I am doing somthing wrong.

Yup, in CWS5 you go to Device center > Resources > Profiles

Scroll down to the Output Profiles and highlight the one you are using then click Edit

Click on each of the eyes to remove all but the one for yellow on the right, then you can modify how much yellow is used. Simply drag and drop the line. This process is 100% trial and error, the bottom line is the percentage of color from the file, the line up the side is the percentage the printer outputs at the same point.

Printing yellow instead of white

Product Name: Other - specify product in post

 Hi!

When I scan and print a page it comes out with a small yellow shade instead of white. I am not suprised because the paper somtimes have a small yellow shade. But I wonder if there is some type of settings in Command Worstation so I can use less of the yellow tonar? Because it just waste of tonar when it prints with a yellow shade instead of white.

Tanks in advance!
(I am not the best at english so there might be some misspelling, I apologize for that).
