thanks for your answer. The firmware has been updated, and the mentioned issue is still the same. The never ending dataprocessing is not really never ending, because the excel sheet is printed in 15-19 minutes later. We tried printing from another PC, and it was OK under Win7 and Office 2010, but from another Win10 and Office 2019 PC we have the same problem. Maybe Office 2019 and the Versalink C400 are not fully compatible.
I searched for processing issues with you model device and it mentions updating the firmware as the solution.

Printing is OK in general except from printing of excel sheets (Office 2019). A never ending processing is on the display and no prints. Xerox Smart Start is updated.
