It may be that the jobs are being held?
I would look at this and determine if you can impact the issue: Enable or Disable the Held Job Timeout Option
If that does not help then you may wish to review the WorkCentre 5735/5740/5745/5755 Support & Drivers site for other solutions.

Printing from Windows 8 x64 to a WorkCentre 5740 PS using Type 3 driver, version 5196.1200.0.0; places the jobs in the queue and prints only when the computer is restarted; actual printing occurs on the shutdown portion of the restart. Please help!
