Hi mnusbaum,

Thank you for using the Support Forum. I am going to assume you are using a Phaser 6140 since there is not a 1640.  For the issue you are seeing please check that the rollers are installed properly and are clean.  You may need a new roller which you can order and install. Please consider contacting your support centre for further assistance.

Problem printing with Phaser 1640

Product Name: Other - specify product in post

After printing 2 or 3 pages, the printer stops with an error - "Load Tray 1"

The Tray has paper, and the printer will start again when I pull the Tray out and push it back.

However, I can never print more than 3 pages at a time.
