It is not normal to happen but we have noticed that if a user sends an Office 2010 document or PDF that has many sheets do not select the required but sends the entire file, to see the printer that are canceled out many leaves at the time, MegaTrack can identify that job has been canceled and only printed records, it does correctly in HP printers Xerox Phaser not, makes the total count of sheets sent
isnt that a normal behaviour?
i dont know megatrack, but most accounting tools account based on the spool file
so if a print is spooled and send to the machine its already accounted in the software... so cancelling doesnt have affect in the software
I have problems for the Xerox Phaser correctly report the total number of printed pages using the software MegaTrack, if I cancel a job from the cancel button does not take xerox 6360 phaser correctly the total number of printed sheets. Anybody have any suggestions on how I can troubleshoot it?
The problem was solved. The SW does not accept SNMP notifications of this type of printers, HP printers only
