If you need to do it at the CentreWare Webpage, absolutely there is a way:

  • In the page, Go to the Properties tab
  • Click Service - Printing - General
  • In the General section Enter the number of minutes desired to Held Jobs in the Delete Held Jobs After field (0-7200 minutes)
  • Click Apply at the bottom of the page.

I am on the box but not NEAR the box.  Are you telling me this does not exist thru the web page and that is why I could not find it?

Solution : Configure Secure Print (Job Held) at the Printer

Log in as the System Administrator or Key Operator. Default user is admin.  Deafult password is 1111.

Press the [Machine Status] button on the Control Panel. The Machine Status screen will be displayed.

Select the [Tools] tab on the Touch Screen.

Select the [Device Settings] button.

Select [Timers].

Select [Held Job Timeout].

Select [Enabled] to set the length of time before a held job is deleted or select [Disabled] to disable this feature.

Select the [Save] button.

Press the [Log In / Out] button on the Control Panel. An "Are you sure you want to logout?" message will be displayed.

Select the [Logout] button on the Touch Screen.

Depending on the product, there should be a Secure Job Timeout option so that it will be held up to X amount of hours.

Please provide the model of your machine and we can look into that for you.

OR

You can go to http://www.xerox.com/support

Enter the model of your machine.  Select the Support link below the desired model on the results and enter Secure Timeout.  If your product supports it, it should be listed and the steps will be outlined for you.

If you cannot find it, leave the model of the machine here and we can research it to confirm if it is supported or not.

Purge Old Secure Prints never picked up?  Can you set a limit?

I see nothing on either the printers or the drivers that allow you to set anytihng up about old prints or purging at some limit of time or count.  Did I miss something or is this just not handled and you have to clear the printer every now and then?

Thanx.
