same problem: Repeating image on WC7830

1. All 4 would do it

2. Xerox's market share would tank

3. This forum would have daily complaints of the ghosting

So since we know it isn't normal and since the certified tech came there and said it can't be fixed, then call your Sales rep/Dealer.

Hello Joe,
We have the same defect pattern on our WC7845, which is visible after a distance of exactly 75.0 mm. I checked it with the magnifying glass and it's not 74 mm! The issue occurs in all colors and we have replaced all four R1-R4 drum units, but the issue remains. In addition, we have replaced the second transfer roller, the fuser unit and the belt cleaner.
The technician has replaced the IBT belt unit and power supply. We also moved the machine to another place, but everything didn't work.

We have four of these machines in use, but only this one makes the mistake. All three other WC7845s print the picture correctly.
The technician wrote to his 2nd level support and they said that the error is normal to an office machine and there is no solution.

Joe, do you have another fix? Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this machine.

And it is also the same distance for the fuser, and appears to happen in more than one color, so that eliminates the drum as being the defect (Unless you are neglecting to mention that it only occurred on one or 2 of the CMY pages) and shows the fuser was the issue since it applies (fuses) all the colors to the page.

The distance is 95mm, which is exactly diameter of the drum, but they are changed!

As admin go to Machine Status > Tools > Troubleshooting > Support Pages > Print

Follow the directions and repeat back the results if needed.

Here is the problem!!!

It decreases on low resolution! BUT  colors became different!

It should be zoomed to see it.

Drums a 70-90% life, but I changed them.No changes!

Hi there!

We have a WC7830 wich repeat  white colored text at red(Bordo)  background  as negative black text. Infact it repeat everything white object as negative, inside the bordo background.

Tomorrow I will post the image here, but if anyone have any idea please help !
