Repeating magenta marks on right edge

Product Name: WorkCentre 6505
Operating System: Windows 10 x64

See photo 1. The spacing indicates that it may caused by toner on one of the rollers in the imaging unit. Photo 2 shows the magenta toner on the transfer belt. The left side in this view corresponds to the right side of the printed page. Photo 3 shows toner debris from all colors behind the imaging unit. I don't know if this amount of toner debris is normal.

Do I have any other option than to replace the imaging unit? I know the imaging unit is intended to be replaced and not serviced. I would be willing to give it a go if I had teardown & reassembly instructions, since I have nothing to lose but time. I have a toner vacuum and I will vacuum out the area behind the imaging unit before installing a repaired or replaced imaging unit.

Any thoughts or guidance appreciated.

Resized jpg files smaller, hopefully they will be visible now.
