Re: Repeating marks on Xerox phaser 7500

Hi Gabiene,
You’re right it is the problem. I took the ITB out and removed some small debris on the rollers and it helped.
Thanks

Hi,

The debris are inside the IBT assy, so you need a tech to disassembly and clean the IBT or replace it.

It would be worth checking your individual imaging drums for any signs of defects.

Thank you for answering. You are right about the residue on the belt. The small marks on the paper are identical to the marks on the belt. But I have tried to clean the wiper blade with no results. I have a theory that it cold be residue on the rollers inside the transfer belt - could that be possible?

If it isn't the fuser. Likely the transfer belt. Easy enough to pop out and che k it for marks/streaks on there. The wiper blade probably has a lot of paper lint debris on it causing it not to clean the belt after the last job and some old residue comes back out on the belt and onto the new print. Residue is supposed to be cleaned off then an auger moves it to the waste toner bottle.
