Has anyone else observed instances of SAP print jobs, such as lot history records, never printing or getting 2 or more of the same print job without having submitted a reprint?
We have had several instances of this occurring and cannot seem to pin down a root cause. I have spoke to the SAP team and they said no other sites have reported this issue between SAP and Xerox MFDs/Printers. I have assumed it is a damaged data line(s) but still unsure as the corresponding material labels will print fine on Zebra printers - no dropping jobs or printing mutliples of same jobs. Before we switched to Xerox printers, we had never seen it occur on the HPs.
Unsure if it is a finicky network card, failing network card, etc on the Xerox devices but again, print jobs from Windows/Word or similar do NOT drop jobs or print extra copies. This has occurred on a few different models (possibly another one that we just received a few months back), in several different locations and also between two buildings on same campus.
Hoping to get some insight as we cannot be the only place seeing this occur!
