The Xerox 5225 only has a USB printer port option. You will need to configure the Xerox to be on a network. Another option to look at would be a crossover cable from your PC to the Machine if you do not have a network.

Scan Driver

Hello out there!

I have a Xerox Workcentre 5225.  I have downloaded the sanner WIA/TWAIN driver for it.  My Vista macine is directly connected to the 5225 with a USB cable.  Can I use the driver to scan images without the printer being connected via IP?  Can someone tell me how to set this up?  With my small HP printer which can also scan, the setup portion of the driver installes the scanner for me and I'm using Vista's wiacmgr.exe to scan images on it.  wiacmgr does not see the Xerox.  The clip organizer has a scan utility and it does see the Xerox as a scanner but nothing happens when I choose "add files to clip organizer" and then choose the 5225.  I'd sure love to scan with the Xerox if I can.  Thanks!
