Scanner issue

As of this date it looks like just the ADF is showing the error, off the glass it shows 8.5 x 14.

Cannot chose size when using ADF, under Image Edit...Original...it is set to Automatic and I am unable to change input size

Most likely you will need a service tech.

Does it only happen with the ADF when doing a scan? Or does that include with Copies? <firmware vs hardware>

How about direct off the platen glass? <adf sensor vs scanner sensor>

If you set the paper source as legal manually, and the original size as legal manually, does it work then? <just narrows the troubleshooting realistically>

Document handler & Scanner

Issue:

when an 8.5 x 14 is placed into document handler to be scanned and printed it shows the incorrect size, in this case 11 x 17, paper choice to use is 8.5 x 14, the result is the image is printing in upper left hand corner of the sheet, 8.5 x 14, and type is cut off.

Is this an issue I can solve or is this a call for service?
