Do you not have the SIQA tools with your C75? Your color drums will have nothing to do with a skewed image. With SIQA tools you can align for the stock you are running. When we had our J75, and when SIQA tools was working, it did a fantastic job of ligning things up front to back and is most likely what you need to use. Pretty sure it comes standard with all C75 and J75's.
I've had this machine for a month now, and the images only just started to be scewed. So, I am hesitant to say it is the trays, because they haven't changed. However, I did not try the oversized (bulk) tray. I will do that this morning. I've come to the conclusion that I will just have to wait for a technition to be able to come and fix this. I was just hoping to figure this out on my own, as it takes a week or so to get somebody out to my part of the world. Thanks for the input!
From my experience with a J75 if doesn't have the same registration and skew accuracy as even it's predessor the DCP700. Have the technicians manually set up the trays accurately? This needs to be done first to give you consistent results.
Are you using bulk trays (6&7) or just the main internal trays (1,2,3,4). The bulk trays should give a better result than the internal trays.
You only have around 2mm of adjustment from your stock setup so yes if it's skewing more than that there's nothing you can do. I would make sure the technicians have the trays configured properly for that stock.
I am having serious issues with my xerox C75 press having a constantly scewed image. It doesn't matter whether I print from the computer, or am making copies directly on the the machine itself. It doesn't matter which paper or which feeder I use. I've replaced all the drums, and the fuser. I've turned it off, unlplugged it from the power source and from the network and restarted. I've checked the entire machine for anything that may be blocking the pathway. I've tried a manual aligment adjustment, but it is too far scewed for that to help. I am stumped and the technitions are stumped. I just don't know what to do...
