Secure Print doesn't work on WC Pro 35

Product Name: Other - specify product in post

We have just moved our WC Pro 35 from our old 2003 printserver to a new 2008 (32 bit and no R2) printserver. We're using the Global Print Driver because there is no dedicated WC Pro 35 driver for this OS.

Our users have the option of entering a pincode in their printing options to allow for secure printing. But when they do so the printer just spits out the page without requiring any pincode whatsoever.

What could be causing this?
