Set Printer Defaults to Grayscale

I guess the Xerox Color printer I do have only has the option to set to BW and not grayscale however.

those machines are BW , thats why you cant find the color setting :)

I should add that I've been through every PCL 6 driver for all of our Xerox printers.

I can't find any setting to set the defaults to Grayscale but I see the Duplex option (2 Sided Print).

Are these drivers so limited that I'd have to set these defaults on the physical printer itself?  And if I set these settings at the printer, how would users override them?

I'm confused.

I've just installed 15 new Xerox printers (on a Windows 2008 R2 server) ranging from the Workcentre 4260 to the Phaser printers.

I'd like to simply default the printing preferences to Grayscale and Duplex Printing.

These printers are not physically at our location yet.

Is this possible?
