Hi there,
Thank you so much for this. It was driving me crazy!
The Xerox instrutions are truly useless. Dear Xerox, the 100s of pages of user manual is pointless for a home user. At this age, you need a one pager quick setup (which works), download, enter network, enter password, go. Never had so much trouble setting up any devices in my life.
Anyway, many thanks again, you saved me from buying a different printer.
Kind regards,
Arpad
Yes. I used the USB cable to set up the printer.
Did you temporarily connect the printer to your MacBook via a USB cable?
Hi - after a few attempts, I managed to connect to my B210 printer from my MacBook - thanks for the advice.
Straightways after that successful instal and printing a document, I couldn't progress with WiFi set up. I've used "WiFi Setting Utility for Mac OS 10.15 and Higher" but I get the message "Setup was unable to detect any printers and to communicate with your printer. If a cable has been disconnected with your computer or printer, this may be preventing Setup from detecting the printer. Please check your USB cable or printer, then try again." Any suggestions?
Thanks! I've had quite a lot of trouble setting up my B210 on my M1 MacBook Air. 👏
Sorry, the png screenshot doesn't seem to appear. Here's a jpg
I had the same problem until I installed the driver correctly. I'm no expert, but can I suggest the following:
I've just reinstalled on my iMac and it works for me. I hope it does for you too.
Yes I am using a Macbook 2020, running Big Sur.
Right now, my B210 is continuously printing gibberish characters till the pages run out in the tray.
