Re: Setting up secure print to print in colour while leaving generic printing in b&w

The only way to make it so only some users can print in colour while everyone else prints b&w is by enabling Xerox Standard Accounting, track colour copies and prints only, and only give the codes to people you want to allow to print in colour. They can still use secure print if they want. It won't be possible to print in colour or copy in colour wothout an accounting code. It will print a page saying the code was missing or invalid instead of printing their colour job

Setting up secure print to print in colour while leaving generic printing in b&w

Product Name: ApeosPort-IV C5570
Operating System: Windows 10

I am trying to set up secure print to print colour copies by using a pincode and allow normal printing to stay at b&w for general use.

I have set up the secure print and have changed it to colour. But the problem is the normal one changes back to colour as well.

Is there a way to set this up to allow staff to print generally in b&w and have it set up as secure to print in colour?

Thank you for your help in advance.
