Re: Shadow/Echo Prints

Seems its a tech only part for your model.

Open the back door. Should be a green latch gate on the fuser you can swing out to check condition of orange roller.

Re: Shadow/Echo Prints

Thanks for the suggestion. I looked at the printer again and don't see an orange roller. There aren't many exposed parts once the toner and drum are removed. I used a lint-free cloth to carefully wipe whatever surfaces I could and there was minimal toner picked up. The drum part has a green roller (brand new) and it has a horizontal line of toner across it. I did not wipe it off in case I damage the roller surface.

Shadow/Echo Prints

Product Name: WorkCentre 3215
Operating System: macOS 10.13 - High Sierra
Printing results in really faint duplications further down the page of the same text. Photocopies are clean and looks good. It looks like what printed at the top of the page repeats about 1/3 of the page down and again 2/3 of the page down. Things I've done: 1. The printer has a new toner cartridge and I replaced the drum in case that was the problem. Both were purchased directly from Xerox. 2. Updated my driver just in case 3. Using regular letter size 20# copy paper in normal temperature/humidity conditions. I've only owned the printer for three years and it's for very light home/personal.
