Hi urnukinit,
Thank you for using the Support Forum. Please take a look at the solutions for black lines. Please pay special attention to the final solution on printing and evaluating the "print defect" page. If this does not help then please contact the service technician again and request the problem be escalated to the next level.
My Phaser 7760GX, running firmware PS 5.2.1, is producing a thin, barely visible, black line running perpendicular to the direction of paper travel. While it does repeat, the interval is not based on the travel of one of the rollers, It is consistantly 85 mm from the trailing edge on extra thick (100lb) 7x10 prescored card stock. (I know 90 lb is extra thick, but we have printed this way for 3 years without issue) The line does not show up when printing test pages from printer. I have swapped all imaging units, cleaned the laser window multiple times, checked the condition of the drum wiper blades, replaced the fuser, reinstalled the driver, tried 2 different belt cleaner assemblies, cussed, and spat. I have had a Xerox tech and an ESI tech come check it out to no avail. I am printing with Adobe Indesign using a Xerox mobile express driver(which worked fine until 2 weeks ago) and Windows 7 64-Bit. I have tried taking the stroke color to clear and the stroke weight to 0. Please help!?!?
