This issue was mostly user perception. However, we did end up uninstalling and then re-installing the printer and that did speed up processing noticably.
I searched slow printing in the knowledgebase, and found quite a few solutions you can try listed HERE.
We have a new AltaLink 8070 that has a Windows 2012 R2 print queue. There is a noticable deply from when a user hits "print" and when the job actually starts printing on the Xerox. This is occuring both with Win7, Win10 and MacOS users. I have tried both the PLC and PS drivers. Anything else I can look at?
