It will be better to upload an image here so we can see the issue and to try to help you.
But if is from one color, you can swap the drums between them so the issue will move to another color.

I believe this is the drum that is causing the smudges. With this machine, are there multiple drums and how do I tell how much life is left in said drum. Where are the instructions to replace the drum if need be.
