Thank you for using the Support Forum. Please take a look at this article about Toner Smears.  Additionally make sure you are setting the machine for the color, type and weight of the paper you are using.  If this doesn't help try a fresh ream of paper that has been stored in a climate controlled area.  Please consider contacting your support centre for further assistance.

Smudges on side of paper

Product Name: WorkCentre 3225
Operating System: Windows 11
Hi! Last few months I am having problems with my WorkCenter 3225 as it started to make ink smudges on the left side of the paper (usually 4 per page). This happens when copying and printing. I am using original Xerox cartridge for 3000 copies that was replaced one month ago and is according to Easy printer manager more than half full. The drum is also original and was replaced 14 days ago but the problem still persist. The printer is 2 years old. Please help.
