I never have was able to do a software update and always get the "Could not connect. Try again later." message. Otherwise the printer works fine. I have setup on a static IP in my office. Anyone else having this issue? Any solutions? I am missing something here?

If you are trying to run the automatic update then most likely the DNS is not set up on the machine. You can use 188.8.131.52 as a secondary DNS. If you would like to dowload and install the update manually I have included a link to the latest General Software release. You can install the file by accessing the Embedded Web Server (webpage) of the machine.
