Yes and no, I completly disassembled and cleaned all the toner from the transfer belt assembly. It appears that the cleaning system on the transfer belt is not dumping the extra toner into the waste toner bin and it is all piling up on the belt.
After I cleaned it, it was ok for about a month. Now it's all clogged back up again and I can't find an answer on why.
Same exact thing is happening to me after printing shipping labels.
Any luck getting your printer fixed?
Thanks
Hi,
I suppose there is a problem with clogged toner in the cleaning system of the transfer belt.
Gabi
My wife printed some shipping labels a couple of weeks ago and now when she tries to print there is brown spots on both sides of the paper, some of them dowipe off but some are on the paper. It has also started printing very light on some areas of the paper and extra toner on the back side of the paper, this does seam to be worse when she prints on photo or glossy paper. I have tried cleaning the tone drum with the supplied tool but that hasn't helped. We have also tried new toner drums, even though the ones we replaced have less then 200 sheets on them.
Any help would be appreciated.
