Starter toner only printed 113 letters?

Thank you for using the Support Forum. The intial cartridge that comes with the machine should yield approxamately 500 prints according to the product site in the section "What's in the box".  But that yield will vary based on image, area coverage and print mode.  The yields are in accordance with ISO/IEC 19798. Please consider contacting your support centre for further assistance.

My two week old WC6027 has run out of toner after printing only 113 normal letter style pages! I have never had a starter toner run out nearly this soon. Is this your experience with Xerox? I have never owned a Xerox until now, so I don't know if this is normal.

Staples, wher I bought it, told me that starter toners only print a limited amount and this is what to expect, but no other laser printer I have ever owned printed any less than a magnitude of that number out of the box. Staples also told me I needed to but the $120 replacement toner to see what I should expect (!)

If this is normal, well, Xerox, you won, I was fooled. If not, please let me know and any ideas of how to rectify this would be appreciated.
