Hi Tammy,

I can't fix it nor stop printing at startup because I have no network access to the WAN to download firmware (I cannot make it work).and no System Icon to adjust the settings for startup. See screenshots above.

The error code 016-426 is for an expired security certificate, here are instructions on how to fix it.

Hi Tammy,

 

I'm having issues. I don't have a "System" App / Icon in my printer menu even when logged in as Admin:

I also can't update or connect to the internet. I thought it was my router firewall but the printer seems to be showing in the network drawing (connected via ethernet) with an assigned IP address.

I am still getting this error message as previously mentioned:

EDIT unsure if I don't have enough posts but it's hiding my inserted screen photos.

A quick secondary question relating to start up, the printer reports remote services error 016-426. Is this just because it can't get internet access through the firewall or is there a different meaning to the code.

Hi Tammy, yes it's a Versa Link C400Dn . Apologies if I didn't make that clear.

Hello AlPr1nt, 

 

You mentioned not having the same menu as the C405 but didn't mention the model of the printer you are using.  I did see that you tagged this post with C400 so I've included the instruction on how to turn off the startup page for that model here.  There is also a banner page that will print, if you would like the instruction for turning that off click here

 

If you are using a different product please let us know which one so we can send you the correct instructions.

Stop Printing at Start Up

Product Name: Other - specify product in post
Operating System: Windows 10 x64

HI,

How do I stop the printer from printing a report at startup?

I'm using expensive paper and don't want i wasting paper and toner telling me it's started.

I found the guide on here for turning it off ont he Versalink C405. However, I don't have the menus shown in that guide. 

Any help appreciated.
