Stub broken on top paper tray 8570DN

Ya, I have been having constant Tray 1 Paper Jams without even feeding for months and just noticed the little dangler on the right side. Fell off merely touching it. The paper seemed low that side, so I was trying to jam a paperclip under the tray to jack it up slightly when I saw it. I didn't know there was a spring both sides - thanks!  Hopefully not stuck in there somehow... dumb design I guess.

I fixed this with superglue but still having endless jam problems that just don't seem to end. I'm tired of 'Open A or Remove Tray 2.
Surely there has to be a reason and fix.

I have been getting mesages to open front top 'A' because of paper jam but no paper anywhere and now I notice a little stub on one side of the top paper tray is half broken off.

Still attached but half off.  I have now tried to super glue it so wuill see if that helps.

I see a small spring attaches to it and the same on the other side of the tray.

If the glue doesn't work what part will I need and how much. I am in Sydney Aust.

EDIT: I think this is the part I will need.
