Re: System Fault error when printing a specific file

Thank you kalarse for using the Customer Community Forum.

This is a memory error on the printer that is referencing a specific line of job code that is failing. This can occur when a job file is improperly composed or if the PDL (print language) used is not optimized for the job format, or components of the job being used.

We recommend switching to another PDL such as using PostScript instead of PCL6, or PCL6 instead of PCL5. Alternatively, reconstruct the file in the application it was sent from.

You can download the PCL6 or PostScript drivers from our website here: http://www.support.xerox.com/support/workcentre-3315-3325/downloads/enus.html?operatingSystem=win7x6...

System Fault error when printing a specific file

Product Name: Other - specify product in post

Hello all, how are you?

I have an issue with a printer which with a specific file, when trying to print it provides the following error message:

System fault:(U32)p

file MM_AllocBlk.c

line 552

Task

Printer is a WC 3315, PC used to print is a Win10 shared on network.

My workaround with the file was 1st print to a new PDF and then print it, which worked, but wanna know why that error came in, as it was only one file which gave the error.
