thats a common issue now with 10.6.8 , there are other threads in this forum how to fix that... then it should work
Installed via Bonjour.
If I remove printer and re-install using IP-address, the printing does not work at all, print work stays in queue as paused. If I choose to continue printing, it returns to pause mode immediately. No errors, just goes to paused mode. Weird.
Just noticed that all pages causing problems are "printed-to-pdf" pages from Google maps. Does that make a difference? Some other pages seem to work pretty Ok.
how did you install the printer? bonjour network? ip ?
Hi,
I'm trying to print couple of small (300KB) PDF pages with 6140N.
Printing of first 1-page document was not very fast, but the second one (1-page, too) takes even loooooonger, now (after 20 minutes of operation) telling that it is sending LPR print job at 4%... Is there a known reason why this takes so long?
I have up to date Mac OS 10.6.8, installed latest 6140N driver (2.3) and removed and re-added printer to list of printers in control panel before printing. Oh, and also re-booted the Mac and printer.
Help?
