Hi,
The error you are having is because you have a proxy on your network or the devices can't reach the internet. This is very useful so you can have a automatic reorder of toners. Because you have a lot of devices, I recommend that you install the XDA-Lite that will do the same but is a program installed on a pc and do it centrally to all your printers. You can download it from here:
Xerox Device Agent for Remote Print Services (XDA-Lite) - English
To deactivate this service from your devices, go to the device webpage -> properties -> General Setup -> SMart eSolutions Setup -> set "not enrolled". You will never have the error message again. Do it to all printers.
Regards
Rui
We have around 16 Photocopiers, WC 78xx's and QC93xx's, All send daily emails about "The machine is unable to contact the Xerox Communication Server."
Is there a way to switch this off without disabling the emails error notifications, or can we install our own Communication Server to sit our side of the firewall?
Thanks
James
