i would recommend printing shades of CMY CM MY YC and all 4 together as a medium grey for diagnostic purposes.  I use the dual colors for the yellow, for it is hard to see without an additional color to work with (be sure to turn colorwise off for FIERY so it uses pure colors)  the four color page will help you diagnose blending issues.  Have a 40% black sheet to diagnose black drum issues, as the black drum is different from the color drums.

Thank you for your response, it's much appreciated. I will end up putting a new set of toners in I would think. This doesn't explain how it will photocopy ok though. And anything sent to print from the computer turns out like the images. The bar code style overlay print is very clean and does not look like an issue with the print process side but more the fiery I would think? Thanks, Paul.

After seven years of no printing you should do a full clean and replace the drums and developer (the powder).  The stripes are what i get when i let my 770 sit too long (upgraded 250 engine)  There are charge rollers on the drums that will flatten in that spot that is touching the drum.  They will not spring back out to circular after sitting so long.  The verticle stripes on the image are most likely that but the horizontal bands will be the developer.  Developer will grow old and clump and not travel through the 'blade' cleanly.  This 'blade' evens out and prevents too much developer from being applied to the developer roller (which is charged to hold the powder).  With fresh developer (after the old is cleaned out completely) you should see an even coating on the paper and not banding.  As for the IP changing i do not know, sorry.

Hi, hopefully somebody maybe able to help me here.. I have recently purchased a xerox DC250. First of all a few issues connecting to the command workstation. For some reason the IP address keeps changing, but when I do manage to get connected the machine. Can someone recommend the best setup for this machine to a mac? I have attached a sheet of how it prints, where you can see the solid colours behind print out, but with a bar code style overlay on top (note the bar code is a very clean print). I have been told to re-sit the boards inside the fiery and behind the machine of the dc250, with no luck. Also checked the cables and they all seem fine. This doesn't seem to be a problem with thXEROX DC250 Bar code style print overlay issue as the machine will actually copy fine. The machine has been stood for around 7 years with no printing, could it be an update to the software maybe on the fiery? This problem still occurs from a test page through command workstation. Hopefully someone can help, thanks in advance! Paul.
