Re: Toner coverage variation

Thanks for the help. I have calibrated and I am still seeing a difference between the left and right  edges of the printed pages. The toner coverage on the left of the feed is noticably different to that on the right.

Whats next to look at?

Toner coverage variation

Product Name: Other - specify product in post

I have a Phaser 7100 which recently has started producing poor quality prints.

For example this was the quality of one print.

When I printed a page out of just that colour I noticed that there's a variation in toner coverage from the left to the right (as the paper goes through LEF). It's more noticable when I tear the page in half and top-tail the page ....

I've done the usually maintenance and the toner cartrigdes have not been in that long. I even covered the printer with a cloth to try and eliminate light entering the printer. There's more direct sunlight to the left of the printer, but covering it made no difference.

Any ideas? Where do I go from here?
