I guess I could try that. I'm not sure there any techs nearby. I'm just wondering if I only need to replace that roller. I only need to know two things:

I know this printer is getting a little long in the tooth, but it is seriously the best printer I have ever had. A consistent workhorse that has never let me down.
Recently it has started printing a black line across the page. Yeah, I know, get in line, everybody has this happen. But the thing is, I know WHY it is happening, I just don't know how to fix it, permanently, only temporarily.
(see photo) When I pull out the black roller, I can clearly see the black toner pooling up on the roller. If I carefully vacuume/clean this off, line is gone, for a while. Maybe 10 prints later, it's back. Same reason.
What is happening here?
