Hi everyone,
I am trying to see if an image that I have can be printed on the 980 with consistant results. It is a 5 "x 8.5" full color CMYK image.
The issue is, that in the past, larger image files, 8.5" x 11", have been printed with varying results. That would have been 100& coverage on 1 page.
This is only a portion of a larger page that would be printed. This image would take up roughly 30% of an 8.5" x 11" page.
And according to the 980 Optimization Guide page 3-4 " Reduce the image area of each page to ensure that no more than 30% coverage per CMYK image plane exists on any given page."
So I feel that I may be ok. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!
