Re: Tracking dots ruining prints

run about 50x solid fill yellow pages. To me looks like your yellow is not yellow due to some contamination of the developer housing. The 50x page run should purge that with fresh toner

Re: Tracking dots ruining prints

Hi jdouglas,

Thank you for using the Support Forum. Please take a look at the solutions for dots, pay particular attention to the third one.  If the problem continues, please consider contacting the place you purchased it from since it is a new printer,

Thanks,

Tracking dots ruining prints

Product Name: Phaser 6510
Operating System: Windows 10 x64

Hopefully you can see the issue with this print, it's hard to capture it in the light - but basically the problem is, the tracking dots are SUPER obvious on my printer, and they're ruining prints. I was under the impression these tracking dots weren't supposed to be visible, or at least very hard to see - but the ones on mine are so obvious - they ruin any light colour I print and make the rest of the page look dirty.

Is this a fault with the printer, or is everyone else having this issue with a phaser 6510?

I've only had the printer 2 days, and If this is a permanent thing it's going to have to go back - i can't make use of a printer that's going to ruin every print with these dots - i print quite fine detailed stuff and it's unusable as it is.
