What transparency film should be used for the Xerox 8570/8580/8870/8880 printer series?
I can't find any answer.
These are ALL Xerox Colorqube printers and they use WAX for their printing (They are NOT Laser printers, nor are they inkjet printers).
I would prefer 8.5" by 11" film or 8.5" x 14" film, but if I have to, I will use A4 film (metric equivalent). I am located in the United States, near Chicago.
I am looking for a "part number", so I can search. I have found several Xerox transparency films, but none mention the Colorqube. The only film I found that might work was expensive legal-sized film from Tektronix for the "Phaser series". That film has to be over 20 years old, but it was for a "wax based" printer. One film company I contacted told me to contact Xerox and all they sell is transparency film.
I did find 003R98205 on a spreadsheet on a Xerox site for the 8570, but this was for A4 film. There must be something for the US marketplace.
