Re: Tray 2 always jams

Hello m_a_s,

I am sorry, I cannot find that fault code in any of the documentation. I would recommend contacting Support for more assistance: 1-800-821-2797

Thanks,

Re: Tray 2 always jams

Cathy, thanks for your reply.

Respecfully, the problem is not dirty rollers or the suitability of the printer's location.

I have cleaned the retard rollers on all three trays (they all fail when put in the Tray 2 position and they all work flawlessly in either the Tray 3 or 4 position).  I have even replaced the roller for the Pick Assembly (had a spare one as part of a maintenance kit) and ensured it is fully "up" in it's little recessed area.

Trays 1, 3, and 4 all work fine and the paper from Tray 2 never reaches the paper release blade.

The jam history log always shows fault code "89,108(A3M23)" when Tray 2 jams.

Tray 2 always jams

Product Name: ColorQube 8580

Hello!

I have a ColorQube 8580 DN that refuses to print from tray 2.  I can interchange paper trays from either 2, 3, or 4 with the same result:  100% jamming in tray 2, no jamming in trays 3 and 4.  The tray 2 jam is always in the same spot:  behind the front door A (at or just above the paper guide that flips up).

Any thoughts or suggestions?
