I have not tried it yet, but I will tomorrow. I am familiar with ALTBoot process.
Thank you.
Try upgrading the firmware to this, and be sure you use the tool to do so from here.
No settings will be lost. If that doesn't work, an Altboot would be needed, and that wipes everything from the device (again) and you can't use a clone when you know there is absolutely something wrong on your device.
Yes. That is what I have.
Somehow it got set as a dedicated tray.
CWIS > Properties > General Setup > Paper Management > Tray Contents and Settings and make sure it is set to fully adjustable
Or, at the printer as admin go to Machine status > tools > Device Settings > Paper Management Tray Settings and do the same
We have an issue with our Workcentre 7225. We recently upgraded to firmware 073.030.019.14200. The Hard drive crashed and we replaced with a new SSD. 99% of everything is working fine, but one odd issue. We typically feed 80# 11x17 cardstock in the Tray 5 manual feed. After upgrade and reflash of drive, the side tray has default of 9" x 12" Envelope. When we put anything else in the try, it gives this error "Paper size or type mismatch detected in Tray 5 (Bypass); Removable Stripe Transparencies cannot be used by this product. User intervention is required at the local user interface to confirm Tray 5 settings. Device services are degraded."
It seems to ask about try 5 media, but will not let us change it. We cannot via the screen or https interface. All other trays will ask on reload for the paper type on open and close. This try is not asking or allowing to set. Only that we confirm the envelope.
Any ideas?
