5.185.42 actually ;)  They were released last week.  Well, I'd hardly call it "normal" but it appears to be the norm!

are you using the latest global drivers? 5.185.41? if yes, that its normal :)

UPD very slow to map printers the first time

We are migrating to a new 2008 R2 print server. As such we've decided to use the PCL5 UPD (atest version) for our Xerox 8560DN printers.

 

The printers are mapped via our login script and I've noticed that, the first time users login after being migrated to the new print server, it takes upwards of 3 minutes to map the first 8560.  Presumably it is downloading the new driver to the client machine (we are still on XP) but this seems extraordinarily slow.

 

Is this a known issue?  If so, is there a fix? 

 

Driver Isolation is set to NONE
