Re: URGENT assistantce, please! PSCOUT error with Phaser 7400

Since it seems to be an issue with the 32Bit and not the 64, try this:

Download the 32 bit driver from Xerox.com at the 32 bit Win7 PC from Xerox.com.

Click the start menu and type \\192.168.1.100 <replace with your server 2008 IP address> and hit enter.

A new window will open to share the shares on your server.

Double click on the "Printers" folder to open it, then right-click the printer as installed on the server and select "Properties"

This will prompt you to install the driver, choose the location of the extracted driver from Xerox.com you downloaded locally.

Now you can go into "Properties" and select the "Sharing" tab and select "Additional Drivers"

Select the x86 one then OK.

This will upload a working copy as well as the required 64bit ntprint.inf and all other required resources to the 64 bt server.

From that point on your other 32bit clients will be able to install per the normal process.

Re: URGENT assistantce, please! PSCOUT error with Phaser 7400

Hello,

I have previously installed the global print drivers on our Windows Server 2k8R2 64 bit OS and I was getting another error presented.  I have already deleted and recreated the queue on the server.  Test print works fine when sending from the server.

However, when sending a test print from a windows 7 workstation with GPD driver installed i'm prompted the drivers are not installed  Different error for a PCL and PS.

Please advise.

URGENT assistantce, please! PSCOUT error with Phaser 7400

Product Name: Other - specify product in post

Created a print queue on server 2k8r2 64 bit system with 7400 DN PS Driver.

However, when a print job (test print) is initiated from a windows 7 workstation (32 bit) a "PSCOUT" error popups.  Have deleted/created queue with the most current driver download from the site.  No success.

I have disabled SNMP notification on port and the bi-directional setup as suggested from another post referencing the same type of error but different printer model.

please advise.
