Re: Unable to install Workcenter 6605DN printer drivers from network share locaiton.

At the server

Start > Devices and printers

Right click the printer and go to Printer Properties > Sharing > Additional Drivers

check the box for x64 > OK

Browse to the freshly downloaded x64 bit version of the driver and run through the wizard.

Go back to the client PC and connect to the shared printer. Make absolutely certain that the Query Printer option is not selected on any screen it shows up on or you will end up with a Class driver that wont work

But before doing anything, go to Print Server Properties and remove all drivers for the machine that are not the x86 in use

Unable to install Workcenter 6605DN printer drivers from network share locaiton.

Product Name: Other - specify product in post
Hi, I am facing the issue with drivers installation from network share location. I have configured Xerox workcenter 6605DN printer on TCP/IP Port . My printer server is running on Windows server 2012 R2. I have shared the printer. Now i am able to print from printer server but i am not able to add that printer to other client machine. I trying to add by accessing the share path & connecting the share printer. I am getting below error. Error- No driver found-- Windows can't find a driver for Xerox WorkCenter 66-5DN V$ PCL6 on the network. TO locate one manually, click OK. I tried by configuring Xerox 6605 class drivers & PCL6 V4 64 bit drives. But there is same error for both . I have Windows 8.1 64 bit, Win7 64 bit, & 2012 R2 machines in my environment. Can anybody help to resolve the issue?
