Unable to install print driver on Windows 7 desktops for Altalink C8055 and B8055

Hi,

I bought two Altalink 8055 printers and are facing this problem in installation on windows 7 i have tried all the drivers provided on website. Kindly help.

So what happens if you install it locally instead?

What happens if you try the other drivers? (There is the PCL5,PCL6,PS, GPD-PS,GPD-PCL, XPS to choose from)

Which driver have you deployed from the server? If they are class drivers or V4 drivers they should not be used in Win7

When I try to add the printers on certain workstations it gives an error that says 'Windows cannot connect to the printer'. 'Operation failed with error 0x000005b3' I'm able to install other network printers from the same print server. I've tried restarting the print spooler, deleting all temp files from c:\windows\temp and c:\users\{ID}\appdata\local\temp\, verified UAC was set to low. I made sure there were no set*.tmp files in c:\windows\system32\
