Try installing the driver I linked in my post
Hi Joe,
I re-enabled the Bi-Di by setting it to "Automatic" and after I did that
I noticed that down below the Bi-Di setting it shows in the "Installable
Options" that the Duplex Module is "Installed"!
I have the PCL 6 driver installed. I installed this driver from the Xerox
Setup CD that came with the printer. I looked into all the "properties"
areas for this driver but couldn't find any indication whether it's
a v3 or v4. The printer is printing fine otherwise!
After re-setting the Bi-Di to "Automatic" I tried to print two sided
again and I made sure that "Print 2 sided" was selected. Again
each page printed seperately instead of two sided!
Is there anything else I can try to get this to work?
Sincerely,
John Eline
You state bi-di is off and that duplex is enabled, but that implies you don't have one and are thinking you can trick it into doing duplex, you can't do that, Duplex has to be installed on the printer itself, and if it is, you would see the duplex option in the driver without disabling Bi-di.
Also, if you are using a Microsoft (class) driver it may not work properly, same goes for a Xerox V4 driver if you don't install the 2 companion apps.
So if you do in fact have the duplex feature on the device, try installing the Xerox V3 driver
Hello,
I'm a new user for the VersaLink C400 Color Printer.
I've been trying to print on 2 sides without success. In the
printer properties box under "Configuration" I have it set to
Bi-Directional Communication (Off) and the Duplex Module
shows "Installed". Before I print I chose "Print 2 sides" and this
is not grayed out!
How can I get the printer to print on both sides?
Thanks for your time and help!
Sincerely,
John Eline
P.S. Can you tell me the folder where the Xerox Drivers are located?
