Version: 5.20.626.4179 -Linux Intel Driver. RPM i686- did the trick. I guess i did not try that one the last time I spent hours trying to make this thing work. Thank you for your response I would not have tried the i686 version had not you suggest it. The Fedora Forum people went silent when I asked for help; even tough they have been very helpful in the past. You can mark this as solved for the time being; At least untill the next Fedora relase :) -just kiding-. Thank you Joe!
P.S: the same version for the x86_64 systems released the same date definitely does not work.
Reinstall via the 686 driver and be sure to use the RPM packages
Thanks for the response. Sorry I was not explicit enough. I ment after Linux OS upgrade, asumming cups upgrade.
And yes, I tried unistalling the driver, and even the 32 bit version since I am in a 64 bit system
Sorry, what was upgraded? The driver? Printer firmware? Linux OS? CUPS?
Have you tried simply reinstalling the driver?
command "xeroxprtmgr" returns:
